New Delhi (The Statesman/ANN) - The long-awaited Taiwan Machinery Catalogue Show 2012 will be held in Mumbai from 7 to 9 February and in Coimbatore from 12 to 13 February. It is being organised jointly by the Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry (TAMI), Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture (MCCIA) and the Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI). The two exhibitions will showcase catalogues from more than 100 companies of nine major areas, including machine tools, food processing machinery, packaging machinery, plastic & rubber machinery, textile machinery, shoes & leather machinery, woodworking machinery, machinery parts, and industry machinery.
During January-November 2011, Taiwan's machinery export to India exceeded $526 million, an 18% growth over the previous year. India has jumped to the 8th largest destination of Taiwan machinery export.
