1st anniversary celebrations for Petron
Petron Malaysia, which is part of Petron Corporation in the Philippines, celebrated its first year anniversary at its Petron service station in Jalan Selayang on 11th May 2013.
Petron began operations here in Malaysia after its successful acquisition of ExxonMobil Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.’s downstream businesses in April of last year.
During the first anniversary celebrations, Petron treated its customers to a carnival-like experience. Motorists and their families that visited this Petron station participated in games and activities that won them exclusive Petron merchandise. Those who were Smiles cardholders, redeemed their card points for items and enjoyed other promotions at the station’s convenience store, Treats. Petron will continue to host such fun-filled activates from May 18 until mid-June on every Saturday at almost 60 Petron service stations in the Klang Valley.
Officiating the anniversary celebrations was Petron Malaysia Retail Business Head Puan Faridah Ali. During her speech Faridah Ali said, “ Petron is honored to be part of its customers’ lives. This month-long celebration is our way of thanking them for supporting us throughout the year and we look forward to serving them better.”
Puan Faridah added, “This is a great opportunity to let our customers get to know our premium products and unique brand of customer service. It is also a chance for our dealers to forge stronger bonds with their customers in the neighbourhood.”
Petron Malaysia currently offers Blaze RON 97, Blaze RON 95, and Diesel Max fuels at its petrol stations. Since taking over, the company has already rebranded 125 out of 550 stations across the country to Petron stations and will continue to do so in stages throughout the year until 2014.
