31 Jul - YG Entertainment recently revealed that 2NE1 will not be releasing a second single as they first planned, but to concentrate on their first world tour.

Allkpop website reported that despite their original plan to release numerous singles with two weeks apart for each, they have decided to cancel the idea.

The reason that was given is that doing promotions at the same time while they are practicing for their first world tour will jeopardise the group members' health.

However, YG Entertainment also stated that instead of the original plan, 2NE1 will make a return with a new album in October.

On 5 July, 2NE1 released their latest single, "I Love You" and instantly became a chart topper, gaining a lot of interest from all over the world for their new electro pop and trot sound.

Meanwhile, their "New Evolution" tour will kick off in Seoul on 28 to 29 July before moving on to other Asian countries and also to the United States.
