AJ to attend Columbia University

8 June – It is with great honour that member of idol group U-Kiss, AJ, has been accepted to Columbia University in New York.

As reported on Korea.com, the group's agency, NH Media, confirmed the news, saying, "His acceptance to Columbia University is a result of his hard work and determination. He was able to manage his studies and career very well."

The rep added, "After his acceptance, AJ has received various endorsement deals from home school companies and schools. He has also been asked to be a speaker on various events and share his story on how he was able to balance his studies and career."

The singer first debuted in 2008 as a member of Paran. He then joined U-KISS and has been active in the group's promotional activities. In addition, AJ is also a registered composer in Japan. He has written the song "Believe" for U-KISS latest album titled, "The Special to KISS Me".

The singer is currently busy with U-KISS' upcoming concert tour in Japan and album release in Korea.

Columbia University is one of America's private Ivy League research universities, ranked 4th on the list of top US universities in 2012. One of its alum includes South Korean singer Park Jung-hyun.
