Alice Li and Yijo arrested for drugs
28 Aug – While earlier reports stated that two Hong Kong female artistes have been arrested for drugs after Jaycee Chan and Kai Ko, it was recently revealed that the two artistes were actually EEG's Chinese actress Alice Li (Li Xiaonan), and Yijo, the former Chinese member of K-pop idol group RaNia.
As reported on China News, allegedly, the two female artistes were able to persuade a source from the authority to tweak information about their identities to the media, so that nobody would suspect that they were the ones involved in the hullaballoo.
It was revealed that the two women were to meet at Jaycee Chan's apartment on the day of the raid, and were arrested later at a foot reflexology centre.
When asked to address the issue, EEG's manager Mani Fok stated that they will not respond to rumours at the moment since they have not received any news from Alice.
However, Mani admitted that both the company and Alice's parents have yet to reach the actress for clarification.
The "As the Light Goes Out" actress was originally scheduled to join the promotion of her upcoming film "But Always" alongside Nicholas Tse and Gao Yuanyuan.
