Ketua pegawai eksekutif Talent Corporation Malaysia Bhd (TalentCorp) Johan

Mahmood Merican berkata terdapat usaha berterusan oleh kerajaan dan usahasama

awam swasta untuk meneruskan agenda bakat.

"Apabila pelaburan baharu masuk, kita boleh melatih bakat dari universiti

tempatan serta mengambil peluang baru ini," katanya hari ini.

Beliau bercakap kepada pemberita selepas majlis penyerahan sijil oleh

Agilent dan Institut Farmaseutikal dan Nutraseutikal Malaysia.

Acara itu disaksikan oleh Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri Tan Sri Nor

Mohamed Yakcop.

Sementara itu, Presiden Agilent Technologies untuk Malaysia dan Singapura,

Datuk Gooi Soon Chai berkata bakat amat penting dalam menyokong peralihan negara

ke arah ekonomi nilai tinggi.

Beliau berkata Agilent akan terus melabur di Malaysia dan bangunan baru

miliknya di lebuhraya pantai akan disiapkan menjelang akhir tahun untuk

berkembang dalam bidang sains kehidupan dan bioteknologi.
