Ashlee Simpson’s New York City move is a “done deal”.

The 27-year-old singer, who is mother to three-year-old boy Bronx with ex-husband Pete Wentz, is madly in love with actor beau Vincent Piazza.

Although her sister Jessica has just given birth to baby girl Maxwell in Los Angeles where Ashlee resides, the young mother has decided to move east to be close to Vincent.

“Vincent is tied down because [his show] Boardwalk Empire shoots in New York, but Ashlee is between work projects,” an insider told Star magazine.

“She’s figuring out the logistics, but the move is a done deal.”

“Pete is cool with Ashlee’s East Coast move because he spends a good deal of time there. Jessica isn’t totally thrilled but she understands and wants Ashlee to follow her heart.”

Ashlee’s divorce from Pete was finalised last November after a short-lived marriage.

She was thought to be moving to New York City several months ago, before Jessica welcomed her daughter Maxwell into the world. At the time it was claimed Jessica wanted her sister around for the birth, which happened on May 1.
