JOHOR BAHARU, May 12 (Bernama) -- The Information, Communications and
Culture Ministy wants associations of sub-ethnic groups to set up a centre at

Banjar, we encourage them to form a national centre. We can assist as far as is
possible for the group to build a replica of their traditional houses to
showcase their culture besides helping them preserve their respective cultures,"
he said when launching Johor''s Children of Minang Welfare Association''s second
anniversary celebration here today.
At the function, Rais also announced a RM100,000 allocation for the
construction of the association''s building that is planned to be sited in Johor
Baharu.
