"Avengers 2" continues from "Captain America 2"

10 Aug – The story arc in upcoming film, "Avengers: Age of Ultron" will serve as a continuation from "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" storyline.

"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" film ended with Steve Rogers aka Captain America searching for his friend Bucky Barnes, the Winter Soldier.

"Avengers" writer Joss Whedon explained that Rogers will continue his search In "Avengers: Age of Ultron". However, Ultron will take supremacy over any other mission which forces Rogers to rejoin his Avengers team in a fight against Ultron that threatens to destroy the world.

During a Q&A session at Comic-Con Nerd Headquarters, Whedon said:

"The fact is, Ultron is a clear and present danger and Bucky's in the wind. We do mention the fact that that this is sort of a primary thing, but he's also working with The Avengers too. We're not ignoring it, but he definitely has to deal with a mad eight foot robot, because that's one of those things that you put it off and it just gets worse."

Captain America actor, Chris Evans also chimed in about the storyline continuation, however, the Bucky-Steve relationship storyline will officially pick back up in "Captain America 3".

It has also been speculated that in the third instalment of "Captain America", Rogers will pass on his superhero title to either Bucky or The Falcon as according to the comic books.

"Avengers: Age of Ultron" will hit Malaysia and Singapore on 30 April 2015.
