Sementara itu di KUALA LUMPUR, Timbalan Menteri Wilayah Persekutuan dan
Kesejahteraan Bandar Datuk M. Saravanan berkata kerajaan sentiasa bersikap adil
dalam menyediakan bantuan kepada rakyat, tanpa mengira bangsa dan agama.
Beliau berkata ini terserlah dalam Belanjawan 2013 yang menunjukkan kerajaan
di bawah pimpinan Najib, sentiasa prihatin terhadap keperluan rakyat.
"Sumbangan diterima oleh kuil, gereja dan sekolah vernakular daripada
kerajaan membuktikan kerajaan Barisan Nasional mengutamakan rakyat tanpa mengira
bangsa dan agama," katanya semasa menyampaikan cek bernilai RM100,000, sumbangan
kerajaan kepada Gereja St James di Sentul.

"Firstly im thank to our PM for gave this cheque and I hope it can used for
complete this building.

"I informed that Sant James Church need more around two hundred to three
hundred thousand ringgit to complete this building.
"I will discuss to our PM regarding this and I hope he can give some
contribution more to complete this building," said after visited the Sant James
Church Community Centre which not fully complete.
Beside that, David thank Najib for his help and always appreciate on his
contribution.
"We still need two to three hundred thousand ringgit to complete this
building and I hope the public also can contribute some donation," said here.
Moreover, he also said this Community Centre include some facilities and he
believes that this Community Centre will help the people live around Sentul.
The facilities that will provide here are such as tuition rooms for
students, meeting rooms, counseling service, library, and also have tailoring
classes to single mothers.
