LABUAN, June 16 (Bernama) -- Bintulu is set to host Malaysia’s largest Palm
Oil Exhibition (Palmex 2012) and Sarawak Oil and Gas Expo (SOGEX 2012) from July
11-13, 2012.
Event organiser, Fireworks Event (M) Sdn Bhd, said Sarawak Minister of Land
Development, Tan Sri Dr James Jemut, was expected to officiate the events.
Fireworks Events managing director, Jerel Soo, said the event was expected
to attract over 5,000 trade visitors and 80 booths had been sold.
The event is also in conjunction with conference on "Borneo, Emerging Power
in World Palm Oil Industry".
Meanwhile, the players in the oil and gas industry participating at SOGEX
2012 would be Shell, Dupont Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Hoerbiger KT Asia Services
Pte Ltd, Mozzat Sdn Bhd, PTT Corp Sdn Bhd, Shenzhen Ocean''s King Lighting
Engineering Co Ltd and Tenaga Tiub Sdn Bhd. -- BERNAMA
