Ryan Babel launches his own Liverpool-inspired clothing range

By Early Doors (original post on Eurosport)

Ryan Babel is no longer the footballing name he was when he emerged as one of Ajax's most promising prodigies of the 2000s, nor when he went on to star for the Eredivisie side, Liverpool and the Dutch national team until 2011.

However, even though he plays for lesser-known Kasımpaşa in the Turkish league these days, where fellow Football Manager 2005 favourites Andreas Isaksson and Eren Derdiyok can also now be found, he has grabbed the headlines with a side business venture.

Judging by the 'YNWA' (You'll Never Walk Alone, Liverpool's iconic anthem) motif, Babel remains very much a Red at heart.

That was proven in his latter days at Anfield when he got into hot water for joining the club's fans online in slating referee Howard Webb and accusing him of being paid off by Manchester United.

Babel was signed by Rafael Benitez from Ajax in 2007 and left the club for Hoffenheim in 2011. After a spell back at Ajax, he now sits eighth in the Turkish Super Lig with his current club.
