Commercial property offerings by Sunway Group, namely Sunway Wellesley Phase 1, Sunway Geo and Sunway Velocity's Phase 3C1, have seen over 80 percent take-up rate during previews in the last quarter.
On top of it, these developments has a combined gross development value (GDV) of RM700 million.
Commenting on the success, Ho Hon Sang, Managing Director (Property Development Division) at Sunway Group, said: "Besides the strategic locations, these developments are well-planned, with good facilities, infrastructures, security features and incorporates great concepts and therefore have great potential for excellent capital appreciation."
In particular, the recent preview of Sunway Geo's 220 units of flexi suites and 31 units of retail shops, had witnessed overwhelming response. The units are priced from RM400,000 and RM7 million, respectively, with shop take-up rate at over 80 percent.
Sunway Geo is a 23.4 acre mixed development, comprising condominiums, service apartments, office suites, flexi suites and retail shops, and is ideally located near the multi-awarded Sunway Resort City (SRC).
In addition, Sunway Velocity Phase 3C1 also received healthy response. The project comprises 276 designer office and 12 units of retail shops, priced from RM537,000 and RM3 million, respectively.
Located a few kilometers from Kuala Lumpur City Centre, the project features a 1,000,000 sq ft lifestyle shopping mall and five unique elements namely V Retail, V Office, V Residence, V Boulevard and V Garden.
Apart from that, Sunway Wellesley Phase 1, which comprises 31 units of three-storey shop office with a starting price of RM972,000, also received a very good response.
The 60acre Sunway Wellesley is the developer's latest expansion in Penang. It is located near the KPJ Penang Specialist Hospital, AEON Seberang Prai City Shopping Centres and Jit Sin Independent High School.
