BR1M RECIPIENTS CAN GET VOUCHER FROM DISTRICT OFFICE OR STATE DEVT OFFICE

IPOH, Feb 5 (Bernama) -- Recipients of the Bantuan Rakyat 1Malaysia (BR1M)

who could not be present at the handing-over of the aid can obtain the payment

voucher from the district office or state development office.

Second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah said after getting

the voucher, they should go to the bank stated to exchange it for cash.

"For those whose applications were rejected, they should fill the appeal

form fast," he said after handing aid to 27 victims of a storm in Kampung Ulu

Chemor, here, today.

Ahmad Husni also advised applicants who had not received any information on

their appplications to be patient as the relevent agency was preparing the

letter to hand over the voucher.

He said there were complaints from some applicants that they had not

received any feedback on their applications.

"They are being processed...we have until this March 15 to settle the aid

payment and to me, the process is going on as scheduled," he added.
