Bradley Cooper's "Dark Invasion"

16 Jan – With an Oscar nomination under his belt for "Silver Linings Playbook", Bradley Cooper is definitely in the position to pick up projects that pique his interest and in this case, he has set his eyes on the adaptation of upcoming book "Dark Invasion".

Website Deadline had previously reported that Warner Bros. has landed the rights to the book by Howard Blum, a spy-thriller that will be published on 11 September. If everything works out according to plan, Cooper will not only produce the movie for Warner's via his company, he will also be starring in it as the titular character.

The story is set in 1915, where German spies are sent to America to stop the country from helping out the allies by attacking it. Cooper will play New York police officer Tom Tunney, who brings the spies to justice.

The "Hangover" star will next be seen in "The Place Beyond The Pines" with Ryan Gosling which opens in Malaysia on 16 May and Singapore on 4 April 2013, as well as in "The Hangover Part lll", opening in Malaysia on 23 May and Singapore on 30 May 2013.
