Brand new song in "Frozen Fever" trailer

27 Feb – Disney has finally dropped the official trailer for "Frozen Fever" and from the looks of it, there are some great new moments in store for "Frozen" fans.

Not only is there a brand new song to sing along to, fans will also get to see the royal sisters decked up in shiny new dresses. Olaf, meanwhile, gets some competition in the adorable mascot department as there are even more heartwarming snowmen featured in the film.

"Frozen Fever" takes place a few months after the events in the hit 2013 film, this time set on Anna's birthday, and Elsa and Kristoff are determined to give the princess the best celebration ever. But Elsa catches a cold and now the snow queen's blizzard powers might spell catastrophe instead of fun.

Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee return as directors while Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad are also back to voice their respective characters. The soundtrack is another creation by Robert and Kristen Lopez, the couple who created Oscar-winning "Let It Go".

The short film will hit the big screen on the same day as Disney's live-action "Cinderella" this 12 March, playing ahead of the feature-length fairy tale.

"Frozen", the 87th Academy Awards' Best Animated Feature, was released in November 2013, and is now the top-grossing animated motion picture as well as the fifth highest grossing film worldwide with its collection of USD1.274 billion, against its production budget of USD150 million. In Malaysia, it managed to gross USD3.6 million while over in Singapore it earned USD3.8 million.

Rumours of a sequel has been around since last year but so far the studio has not given any official word on a possible production. Until "Frozen 2" really happens, fans will have to satiate their thirst for a sequel with "Frozen Fever".
