KUALA LUMPUR (July 25): Cepatwawasan Group Bhd net profit for the second quarter ended June 30, 2012 fell 61% to RM5.82 million from RM13.56 million a year earlier due mainly to a 24% drop in fresh fruit bunch production.
Revenue for the quarter fell to RM53.7 million from RM79.33 million in 2012.
Earnings per share was 1.71 sen compared to 4.32 sen previously, while net assets per share was RM1.29.
On its prospects, Cepatwawasan said that in view of crude palm oil and palm kernel prices stabilising around RM3,00 and RM1,700 per tonne respectively, its outlook remained favourable.
