Premier League champions Manchester City have been drawn against La Liga title winners Real Madrid, Ajax and Borussia Dortmund in the "Group of Death" in this year's Champions League.

Elsewhere for English clubs, Arsenal will face Schalke, Olympiacos and Montpellier, Manchester United will take on Braga, Galatasaray and Cluj, while Chelsea are up against a tough task against Shakhtar and Juventus, with newcomers FC Nordsjaelland completing their group.

Celtic were handed the unenviable task of travelling to the Camp Nou to play Barcelona, with Benfica and Spartak Moscow the other participants in their group.

In Group A, Porto will battle against Dynamo Kiev, Paris Saint-Germain and GNK Dinamo, while Group C sees AC Milan take on Zenit St. Petersburg, Anderlecht and Malaga.

Group F features last year's beaten finalists Bayern Munich against Valencia, Lille and Bate Borisov.
