KUALA LUMPUR, May 31 (Bernama) -- The police have detained a couple who
hoodwinked a real estate agent into believing they were prospective clients
before robbing and molesting her at a condominium in Mont Kiara on May 11.
The suspects, both aged 33, were picked up about 11 last night in Petaling
Jaya.
City CID chief SAC Datuk Ku Chin Wah said today, the couple were remanded
until June 6 to facilitate investigations.
On May 11, the 34-year-old agent accompanied a couple who claimed to be
married, to a condominium unit in Mont Kiara as they had expressed interest in
viewing the premises.
Upon arriving at the unit, the man forced the victim to a room while his
accomplice waited in the living room.
There, the victim was stripped naked, tied up and molested.
The couple robbed the woman of RM200, car, laptop and mobile phone before
escaping.
The agent was rescued by the police who were alerted by some residents in
the condominium, upon hearing her screams for help.
