    KUALA LUMPUR, May 23 — Over 1,000 copies of PAS-owned Malay newspaper Harakah were carted off by Home Ministry officials from shops and several distribution centres in a nationwide raid today, as Putrajaya mounts an apparent crackdown against Pakatan Rakyat (PR) supporters.

SEREMBAN, May 8 (Bernama) -- A couple were killed when the motorcycle they

were riding on was involved in a collision with a multi-purpose vehicle at Jalan

Rasah, here last night.

A police spokesman said that in the incident at about 7.40pm, the victims,

Phang Ching Wah and his wife, Chong May Chin, died on the spot.

He said initial investigations revealed that the victims were on their way

to Seremban from their home at Taman Permai.

"The victims died on the spot due to the strong impact from the MPV. The

motorcycle ridden by the victims was also dragged for about 150 metres from the

body of Chong May Chin," he said, here today.

The body of both victims, who sustained severe head and bodily injuries, had

been sent to Hospital Tuanku Ja''afar Seremban for a post mortem.
