KAJANG, July 17 (Bernama) -- Three suspected heroin traffickers comprising a

married couple aged 30 and 28 respectively and the man''s 16-year-old sibling

were detained at the Bandar Damai Perdana apartment last Friday.

Kajang police chief ACP Ab Rashid Ab Wahab said during the 12.15am raid at

the apartment, police also seized 100 plastic packets containing 1gm of heroin

each.

"The drugs are for the local market with each packet being sold at RM80. The

man also tested positive for heroin and has a previous record for drug

conviction," he told reporters at his office here today.

Meanwhile, two men in their 20s, believed to be drug addicts, were detained

at the Jalan Kuari Chinese cemetery last Saturday.

Ab Rashid said police seized 11 packets of heroin weighing 21.5gm, worth

RM1,000.

"We have not dismissed the possibility that they are linked to the couple,"

he said.
