Diego: I have not received an offer to stay at Atletico Madrid

Diego has stated that he is unsure where his future lies, and despite upcoming negotiations with Atletico Madrid, has revealed the Spanish club are yet to make an offer for him.

The Brazilian playmaker spent 2011-12 on loan at the Vicente Calderon from Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg, and has admitted recently that he would like to extend his stay in the Spanish capital.

Despite this the former Juventus attacking midfielder has confessed that there is no concrete offer as yet from Diego Simeone’s men.

"My father and I have received a new offer for negotiations from Atletico, but as yet there is no bid” the 27-year-old told Waz online.

“There might be a chance that I'll stay.”

The former Werder Bremen star impressed for Los Rojiblancos, scoring six goals in 42 appearances in all competitions.
