KUALA TERENGGANU, June 10 (Bernama) -- Bumiputra-owned cosmetics and health

food company D''navechee Beauty (M) Sdn Bhd targets 2,000 stockists by year-end

from the current 700.

Founder Datuk Azlina Che Abdullah expressed confidence that the target is

attainable with the good demand for D''navechee products nationwide after the

company was issued a franchise licence by the Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and

Consumerism, making it the first Malaysian cosmetics company to get the licence.

"My appointment as a mentor for graduate entrepreneurs by the Higher

Education Ministry in January has also contributed to the sales increase in all

branches nationwide," she told Bernama after a preview session at a hotel here

today.

Azlina, who started in business 12 years ago and was awarded the "Wanita

Ikon" award by local women''s magazine ''Wanita'' in 2008, said D''navechee puts

high importance on product quality, spending hundreds of thousands of ringgit on

research and development.

The mother of four from Kelantan said in January, the company launched a

micro franchise programme for students, and will hold preview sessions

nationwide this year, with the next one in Kuala Berang tomorrow.
