5 Jul - New York Asian Film Festival (NYAFF) will be taking place until 15 July with screenings of movies split between the Lincoln Centre and Japan Society in New York.
According to Hong Kong media, martial arts actor Donnie Yen will be awarded the "Film Festival Star Asia Award" in recognition of his contributions to the film industry.
Donnie has confirmed his attendance together with his wife, Cecilia Wang.
It is said that there will be a "Donnie Yen Week" movie event which would feature four of his movies including, "Wu Xia", "SPL: Sha Po Lang", "The Lost Bladesman" and "Iron Monkey".
