25 Apr – It was revealed that the temporarily named DSP Media male group, DPS Boyz is now officially known as A-JAX.
According to Allkpop website, a representative of DSP Media explained the name choice, stating, "A-JAX refers to the Greek mythical hero that brought victory during the Trojan War. This is defined as the group's aspiration to stand as heroes in the fierce idol competition of the music industry."
The seven members of the group consists of Hyeong-kon, Jae-hyung, Yun-young, Hyo-jun, Sung-min, Seung-yub, and Seung-in were introduced earlier through several teasers. They were even selected as sports brand 'Spris' model ahead of their debut.
Meanwhile, A-JAX's own reality show "Making the Star –DSP Boyz" will debut on 24 April and they will debut on stage at the end of May.
