KUALA LUMPUR, July 9 (Bernama) -- The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) will
cease accepting beneficiary forms through the post, effective Aug 1.
Its public relations general manager, Nik Affendi Jaafar, said effective
that date, members would have to present themselves at any EPF offices nearest
to them to submit the form.
He said this was made to avoid any abuse or fraud as verification would be
made by members on their beneficiaries when they handed in the forms.
"Members cannot ask somebody else to send the forms. Anyone who does that
will have the form rejected," he said in a statement here today.
He said the EPF beneficiary form could be obtained from any EPF offices and
could also be downloaded from the EPF website at www.kwsp.gov.my.
The public could also call 03-89226000 for further information, he added.
