Students looking to buy a new computer could snag a complimentary Xbox 360 to go along with it, under the terms of a deal from Microsoft, Dell, HP and Best Buy.
Rolling out in the USA on May 22, the offer is open to students that order online from the above retailers using a .edu email address, or present a valid student ID at the brands' retail stores.
The catch is that they have to spend north of $699, pre-tax, on a Windows 7 PC in order to become eligible for the free Xbox 360.
The US offer lasts until September 3, and is to be implemented in France and Canada in due course.
Apple have previously run Back-to-School deals that bundle in an iPod Touch with new Mac purchases; this year's promotion is also rumored to start on May 22.
