Gaspard Ulliel has 'fallen in love' with Shu Qi
18 Nov – French actor Gaspard Ulliel recently revealed that he has fallen in love with Taiwanese actress Shu Qi.
According to China Post, the actor, who was in Taipei on 17 November to promote his new film "Saint Laurent", stated that he has fallen head over heels with the actress after seeing her performance in Hou Hsiao-hsien's 2001 film, "Millennium Mambo".
Ulliel said that he started watching a lot of Hou's movies starring Shu Qi after seeing her in that particular film, and anticipates the release of Hou and Shu's new project, "The Assassin".
Meanwhile, Ulliel plays the titular role of the late fashion designer, Yves Saint Laurent, in his new movie. The Bertrand Bonello film has been selected as the French entry for the upcoming Oscar's Best Foreign Language Film.
The film is also screening at the 2014 Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival.
