SHAH ALAM, May 6 (Bernama) -- A non-governmental organisation, in
collaboration with a local university, will organise a nationwide tour
titled ''1Malaysian Nation Destiny Exploration'' this month to help the less
fortunate.
The programme, organised jointly by Gerakan Destini Anak Bangsa(GDAB) and
Universiti Teknologi Mara (UitM), is under the patronage of Prime Minister
Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
It was also aimed at helping less fortunate children continue their studies
to a higher level, according to UitM in a statement, here, today.
The first phase of the programme was launched by the Prime Minister, who
also flagged off a convoy of vehicles at Dewan Sri Budiman, UitM, here, on July
8, last year.
The exploration series will in Negeri Sembilan on May 9, Johor ( May 10),
Federal Territory (May 11), Selangor (May 12), Perak/Selangor (May 13), Perak
(May 16), Penang (May 17), Perlis/Kedah (May 18), Kedah (May 19), Kelantan (May
21), Terengganu (May 22), Pahang (May 23), Melaka (May 24) and Sabah (May 26).
