Want a little extra beauty sparkle for your holiday weekend?
Take inspiration from gorgeous stars and go for memorable metallics this Memorial Day weekend!
Bronze, amber and copper have all been spotted on the red carpet and Jasmine Dashtizad, National Trainer for Mirabella Beauty (a mineral-based cosmetics and professional tools line), shows how to recreate looks for fair, medium and dark skin tones.
EMMA WATSON: To achieve the runway inspired version of this look, as seen on Emma Watson, begin by applying a sheer layer of Mirabella Skin Tint Cream-to-Powder to the face, which will allow the natural texture and color of skin to shine through. The idea is to make the eyes the absolute focus and the skin to have a healthy, "no makeup" glow. Then apply the charcoal shade in the Le Smoking Classic Smoke pencil set all over the lower eyelids, slightly winging the color out to create a cat eye effect. To make eyes pop, layer Mirabella Eye Colour in Bitter Honey heavily to both the inner and outer corners. Finish by lining the inner water line with Smoke Eye Definer and apply two coats of Lash Essential mascara to saturate lashes in deep black. Top off lips with Colour Luxe gloss in Spark. Softly sculpt cheekbones using Blush Colour Duo in Glowing to add subtle structure to the face.
JENNIFER LOPEZ: To recreate J.Lo's peach and copper glow, prep skin with Pure Press mineral powder to eliminate shine. Then use Eye Colours in Decor and Sienna to bring a sultry warmth to the eyes. Follow with false lashes and loads of mascara. Swirl Afterglow Shimmer Powder all over skin for a "lit from within" luminescence. For the perfect pout, apply Lip Colour in Bare followed by Colour Shine in Vibrant.
RIHANNA: For Rihanna's golden goddess look, begin by perfecting skin with Skin Tint Cream-to-Powder for flawless coverage. Then apply the gold crayon from the Le Smoking Shy Smoke pencil set to lower lids with Warm 2 Eye Colour contoured in the crease of the eye. Line top and bottom lash line with Eye Definer in Twig, a beautiful chocolatey brown. Lightly apply blush on to apples of the cheeks using Pure Bronze mineral bronzer. A soft pink lip balances the look. Try Lip Colour in Fleur for an innocent, soft pink.
