Gong Li has no issue with Joan Chen
20 Nov – Gong Li has laughed off rumours of dispute between her and Golden Horse Awards jury, Joan Chen.
According to CRI News, the actress, who attended Prada's May Pradasphere exhibition in Hong Kong this week, stated, "We have never even met officially. How can you not get along with someone if you have never met them?"
"There's nothing of this. It's fake, so you can just ignore it," she added.
Gong believes that Joan's jury standard will be fair and will be based upon the performance of the actors and the quality of the movie.
She was also full of praises for the Chinese-American actress, and expressed hope to work with the director one day.
Meanwhile, according to Mingpao News, Gong Li admitted to have read the script for the second instalment of the hit Lunar New Year movie, "The Monkey King", but has not yet signed the contract.
