With just two days left before Google’s I/O developers conference kicks off at San Francisco’s Moscone Center on June 27, Google+ users are discussing their expectations for the event.

Anticipation is building quickly as Google+’ers talk about Google Nexus tablet rumors and post photos of the Google-themed interior of the Moscone Center.

Google’s I/O announcements have already started.  On Monday Sony revealed that its Google TV set-top box would launch in the US on July 22 for $199. The device will make its global debut in countries including the UK, Australia, Mexico and Canada.

“We're excited to kickstart #io12 with a bang and introduce the latest #SonyGoogleTV device that will be launching in the UK and select markets globally!” announced Google via its Google TV Google+ account.

Gadget-lovers are also oohing and ahhing over the Asus Transformer Infinity Pad. Reviews of the device have gone live and Google+’ers are describing the device as “probably the best Android tablet available right now.”

“I'm seriously considering getting one of these... unless a Nexus tablet changes my mind in the next few days,” say Plussers.

The Transformer Pad Infinity (TF700) features a Tegra 3 quad-core processor, an 8 MP camera, 1080p video playback, and a high-res 1920x1200 display. The tablet is set to go on sale in the US from July 16 from $499 (32GB version).
