Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler has announced he will leave the popular reality singing show American Idol to spend more time working on his music.
“I strayed from my first love, Aerosmith, and I'm back -- but instead of begging on my hands and knees, I got two fists in the air and I'm kicking the door open with my band," said American Idol judge Steven Tyler.
“I have a huge amount of respect for Steve Tyler as a musician and as a singer. He's a great artist but unfortunately I do not find him to be a great singing competition judge. It's great to hear him return his focus to his music. I'm looking forward to hearing more of his new work!” say G+ers. “Rock 'n' Roll SHOULD come first!”
