KUALA LUMPUR, July 27 (Bernama) -- Members of the public who are doubtful
about the status of food being sold at Ramadan Bazaar can inform the Health
Ministry to carry out monitoring activities.
Deputy Health Minister Datuk Rosnah Abdul Rashid Shirlin said the public
could also lodge a report at the District Health Office, State Health Department
or through the website http://fsq.moh.gov.my/v3.
In conjunction with Ramadan, the ministry always ensured food sold by
traders holding licences from Local Authorities (PBT) was safe, she said in a
statement today.
She said the ministry had also conducted inspections prior to Ramadan on
suppliers of raw materials and places where food were prepared by traders
licensed by PBT.
