22 Aug – Members of girl group 4minute went under fire by the Hong Kong media for their alleged rude behaviour.

As reported on Koreaboo website, sources from the Hong Kong media stated that the group were uncooperative and had delayed an event due to their various whims.

The media stated that after their concert in Macau, the group stopped by Hong Kong to be the special judge for tvN's "K-Pop Star Hunt 2" alongside Hong Kong singer G.E.M. However, despite the success of the event, various media outlets and local newspapers criticised the group for their lack of professional attitude.

The media reported, "G.E.M. was happy to answer questions raised by the media, but 4minute was only willing to answer a fixed list of questions that have been earlier prepared by the event's organisers."

Subsequently, in the midst of the event's starting, all of the members suddenly expressed the need to go to the washroom, causing a delay for everyone.

They also added, "Upon their return to the stage, the members only waved to the fans and did not make any introductions. Moreover, members of the media and the official photographer of the event were not allowed to take pictures of the group, as they were blocked by Cube Entertainment's staff. The group was also not willing to take a picture with G.E.M. and the contestants."

It was also revealed that the event's MC took to the Chinese social network, Weibo, saying the same thing, "I've been an MC for many years but I've never encountered a time when an artiste keeps changing the rundown during the show."

She also stated that the group said that they were hungry just as they return to their seats as the judges and went to eat backstage before coming back out, leaving G.E.M alone waiting.

When fans responded negatively to the message, the MC deleted her original post but sarcastically added, "Sorry, I know I'm wrong! I'm just an old woman, so I should not be saying bad things about how people don't want to go to the washroom when they have time but instead waited for the show to start causing everyone to wait, and about how they left in the middle of the show to go backstage to eat causing problems in the rundown! I'm wrong! Very wrong!"
