KUALA LUMPUR (JUNE 7): HSBC Amanah Takaful (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd has been named the Top Bancatakaful Provider 2011, Top Bancatakaful Producer, Takaful Young Manager and the Best in Corporate Social Responsibility by the Malaysia Takaful Association (MTA).
In a statement Thursday, HSBC Amanah said the Top Bancatakaful Provider 2011 Award recognised the industry leader in regular and single contribution saving products distributed thorough banking channels.
“With a 10% market share by Annualised Contribution Equivalent (ACE) for Family Takaful contributions in 2011, HSBC Amanah Takaful is one of the leading Takaful operators in Malaysia,” it said.
It said the Top Bancatakaful Producer Award recognised the efforts of Albee Ling Chun Chyin, a Premier Relationship Manager from HSBC Bank Malaysia Berhad Sibu branch, in reaching the highest Takaful sales production in 2011 while meeting the persistency target.
Meanwhile, it said Leonardo Zanolini, chief operating officer of HSBC Amanah Takaful received the Takaful Young Manager Award, recognising his leadership and innovative execution of company initiatives.
Along with growing the business in Malaysia, HSBC Amanah Takaful won Best Corporate Social Responsibility as it remains steadfast in its commitment to manage the social and environmental impact of the business, it said.
