Indonesia's NoLimit Rolls Out New Features For Improved Social Media Management

The first time I heard of NoLimit was when I saw their pitch in Startup Arena event in our last Startup Asia Jakarta 2012 Event. NoLimit offers social media sentiment analysis/reporting service focusing on Bahasa Indonesia. I thought, technology wise, this is one of the most exciting Indonesian startups. And I was a little surprised when earlier this week, I found an email notifying me of an update for NoLimit dashboard users. To find out more about what the new features mean for managing social media, I contacted Aqsath Rasyid, the CEO of NoLimit, to discuss about this update and to catch up about how well they are doing since Startup Asia event.

Aqsath told me that NoLimit’s main product consists of two parts: the monitoring dashboard and the analytics dashboard. This month’s update focuses on the former, with four new features added:

  • Multiple Scheduling

  • RSS Reader Integration

  • Stream Archiving

  • Peak Time Recommendation

I tried to use their RSS reader integration and stream archiving feature and found these pretty good. I could put my RSS subscribtions and archived streams into categories, it might be better if users can make a link to their archived streams like when one archives streams using services like Chirpstory.com.

I did not get to try their peak time recommendation feature. This feature is, for the time being, only available for corporate users, not regular users. Aqsath explained it will enable users to get the best-time-to-post recommendation based on their followers online patterns.

To end my discussion, I asked, “So how has NoLimit been doing since Startup Asia event, Aqsath answered,

After Startup Asia event, there were more than 7,500 new users registered to NoLimit and about more than twenty partnership offerings came to us from inside and outside Indonesia from people who are interested to collaborate with our technology. We are so excited about this and enthusiastic to improve our system, especially to optimize the Bahasa Indonesia language processing algorithm. We plan to launch a new form of our technology by the end of this year.

One recent NoLimit campaign saw 2,600 percent growth in Twitter followers for Kacang Garuda, a well known brand in Indonesia.
