PUTRAJAYA, Feb 17 (Bernama) -- The Information Department and Education
Ministry are organising the 2012 National Level Asean Quiz which is open to
government and private school students between form three and form five.
In its statement today, the Information Department said the competition
aimed to provide exposure on the culture, politics, economy and social aspects
of Asean countries while increasing the knowledge and creating an awareness
about the region''s affairs among the participants.
The quiz will be in English and conducted online.
Registration should be done through schools online via www.penerangan.gov.my
or forms which are available at schools, and state and district Information
Department offices and faxed to 03-8911 4959 or emailed to
aseanquiz2012@inform.gov.my
The closing date is on Feb 29 and qualifying rounds will be held
simultaneously nationwide on March 22.
