Jackpot winner humbled with winnings

KUALA LUMPUR: A businessman in his 50s won Magnum's jackpot worth RM24,566,017 on April 14.

The man purchased ‘System Bet 11' and permutated some of his numbers, one of them four times.

“Permutation is one of the unique features of our game, which increases their chances of winning automatically as there will be more combinations to pair with our top three prizes,” said a Magnum representative.

“Our philosophy has always been to ensure our customers are satisfied and rewarded for their support and loyalty,” said the representative, saying there is no better way to do it than to see them winning Magnum's jackpot.

“What is more encouraging, is most, if not all of our winners pledge charity work with their winnings.”

The businessman, who also engages in charity work, has been a Magnum customer for over 20 years with a previous win under his belt.

He claims to have been donating to churches, disabled homes and other charitable organisations.

He said with this amount of winnings, he will continue with his charity work, but also make sure his immediate family and siblings are taken care of.
