Jessica Chastain has made the cover of French magazine Crash as she continues to rise as one of Hollywood's best-dressed stars.

The actress posed for photos in the October issue of the glossy publication in a sublime black and white fashion shoot.

The stunning images were taken by Blossom Berkofsky and Jessica is seen in an assortment of luxe wardrobe items styled by Isabel Dupré. Her signature red locks are tousled, swept up and made dramatic by hair stylist Renato Campora.

Make-up artist Tina Turnbow was responsible for emphasising Jessica’s perfectly sculpted features in the studio images.

Jessica is currently the muse of the new Yves Saint Laurent fragrance entitled Manifesto. She spoke about her relationship with the fashion house in a behind-the-scenes shoot for the Manifesto advertising campaign.

"YSL has always been a brand that's very close to my heart," Jessica explained. "Ever since it was created it has conveyed strong values that I cherish like feminine audacity, passion and elegance. I'm very, very excited to be part of this beautiful venture."

As an actress she has recently starred in Lawless alongside Shia LaBeouf and Tom Hardy. Her next project is a play on Broadway called the Heiress. Jessica impressed with her image at the photocall for the show last week where the she star looked gorgeous in a blue Preen dress teamed with a pair of YSL heels as she posed for pictures at the Empire Hotel in New York City.

The 35-year-old recently told the New York Times that she feels she has made odd decisions in her career. However she hasn't put a foot wrong with her fashion choices and impeccable style.

“I’ve always made really strange choices," Jessica said. "Maybe because no one told me otherwise."

Jessica and the rest of the Heiress cast begin preview performances on Broadway on October 6, with the official opening slated for November 1.
