"American Idol" Season 11 runner-up Jessica Sanchez might not have nabbed the show's top prize, but she left the reality competition with something just as sweet - a new man!
The 16-year-old stopped by Access Hollywood Live on Wednesday, where she chatted about her relationship with fellow "Idol" Top 10 contestant DeAndre Brackensick.

Jessica said their romance blossomed once the show had wrapped.
"It was after the finale during tour rehearsals before [the 'Idol'] tour actually started," she told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover.

Jessica didn't hold back when it came to letting DeAndre know exactly how she felt about him.
"I just wanted to be completely straight up with him and I wanted to tell him that I've had a crush on him," she continued.
She was also unsure about the possibility of dating him.

"He actually had a girlfriend during the show, so I didn't think he would actually want a relationship" Jessica explained.
In addition to their relationship, the "Idol" contestants possibly have a music future together.

"Do you and DeAndre ever duet together?" Billy asked.
"Definitely, all the time!" Jessica said. "We're both supportive of everybody. Even the other contestants. If one of us has a problem or something and we're not feeling a hundred percent, we like help each other."
In addition to the "American Idol" tour, Jessica is hard at work on her album.
"I'm a bit hoarse. I've been recording songs for my album and I've been singing almost every night...it kind of takes a little strain on my voice. But I'm still going strong," she told Billy and Kit. "[The tour is] great. It's nothing like the actual TV show because we can actually relax and not look at each other as competition. I'm actually sad that it's almost over"
