Juventus have met with Gonzalo Higuain's family as they look to sign the Real Madrid striker, Sky Sport Italia reports.

Italian sources claim that Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici flew to Madrid on Wednesday to discuss the possibility of signing Higuain, who is believed to have grown unhappy at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The Argentine striker's future at the Liga champions has been a hot topic of debate in this season with Jose Mourinho opting to rotate Higuain along with fellow forward Karim Benzema for the majority of the campaign.

It is believed that Paratici is in the Spanish capital to speak with Higuain's agent, but that there are good signs after a first meeting with the player's father and his brother.

Paris Saint-Germain are also understood to be tracking the player who has a €150 million buyout clause attached to his Madrid contract.

Javier Pastore has been vocal about PSG's interest in the Madrid forward, insisting that his club and the Argentine have been in touch.

Higuain, who joined Madrid from River Plate in 2007, scored 26 goals in all competitions this season.
