Acquiring a stolen iPad was not one of this clown's talents or tricks.

The 64GB iPad stolen from Steve Jobs's house on July 17 was found in the hands of professional clown, Kenneth Kahn, also known as "Kenny the Clown." On Friday, The San Jose Mercury News reported that the stolen iPad was confiscated from Kahn, who did not steal it. Kariem McFarlin, a friend of Kahn, gave him the iPad he stole from Jobs' house.

In the short time Kahn unknowingly had the Apple co-founder's device, he only downloaded iTunes to listen to the Pink Panther theme song and selections by Michael Jackson.

"It would be like getting a football from Joe Montana that was stolen out of his house," the 47-year-old professional clown told >a href="http://www.siliconvalley.com/ci_21331943/steve-jobs-stolen-ipad-clown-unwittingly-used-alameda-kenny" target="_blank">The Mercury News. "It's bizarre; it's really bizarre."

Kahn said he figured his friend had purchased a newer iPad for himself and wanted to get rid of one.

"He's a nice guy who made a horrible, horrible decision," Kahn told Mercury News. "I wish I could ask him: 'What were you thinking?'"

The house was undergoing construction and empty at the time it was burglarized. Police said McFarlin did not know who owned the home.

McFarlin, a 35-year-old homeless man also stole two iMacs and two other iPads, and also pawned Tiffany jewelry he stole from Jobs' residence before police tracked him down. In total, he took $60,000 worth of merchandize from the home. McFarlin directed police and investigators to a locker where he put Jobs’s wallet, credit cards and a letter.

Kahn -- "Kenny the Clown" -- ran for mayor of his hometown of Alameda, just south of Oakland, Calif., in 2006 and 2010, but was not elected to office. He unsuccessfully ran for mayor of San Francisco in 2007.

McFarlin is in jail on a $500,000 bail. He is expected to appear in court Monday.
