    KFC rewards Facebook contest winners

KUALA LUMPUR: The online KFC "Tag and Win" contest recently saw almost RM 40,000 worth of prizes given away to the winners, with the four grand prize winners each receiving an Apple iPhone 4S.

Second prize winners walked away with an Xbox 360 Kinect each, whilst third prize winners got Monster Beats headphones. Two-hundred consolation prize winners also received KFC Bucket vouchers each.

Prizes were divided per weekly basis over the duration of four weeks.

The contest required participants to login to the KFC "Tag and Win" microsite via Facebook Connect.

Participants had to click on the KFC Double Zinger Burger on the microsite to tag it. Each tag revealed a trivia question for participants to answer.

"Today, a vast majority of Malaysians have become very much tech savvy and are ‘connectedÂ' 24/7. The internet has become one of the most important ways to reach them", said KFC Holdings (Malaysia) Bhd marketing general manager Kelvin Hong.

"Through online contests such as this, we are able to reach to our customers, engage with them in fun and interactive ways as well as reward them for their continuous loyalty and support towards us."
