Kim Kardashian is said to be “trying to do whatever she can” to strike up a friendship with Beyoncé Knowles.
The reality TV star is reportedly desperate to socialise with the world famous singer and hopes her relationship with rapper Kanye West will help her to get close to her idol.
An insider told New York Daily News that the socialite would “live and breathe to hang out with Beyoncé.”
Kim is set to accompany her new man to the UK in a bid to bond with his musical collaborator Jay-Z, who is married to Beyoncé.
Kanye and Jay-Z are taking their Watch The Throne tour to Europe and the brunette beauty is determined to go with them.
“Kim wants to travel everywhere with Kanye, but she’s also trying to do whatever she can to get close to Beyoncé,” the insider added. “So, if Bey and Jay are going, she’s going.”
Kim’s mother and manager Kris Jenner is also said to be excited by a potential friendship between her daughter and megastar Beyoncé.
Kim has confirmed that Kanye will appear in the family’s reality show Keeping up with the Kardashians. Kris reportedly hopes that this will mean the music mogul will attract some of his equally famous friends to take part in the programme.
“One of the main reasons she so approves of Kim and Kanye’s romance, is the fact that Kanye has tons of celebrity friends,” a source told Hollywoodlife.com. “Kris has her ways, and it wouldn’t surprise me if the cameras capture Kim and Kanye on a double date with Beyoncé and Jay-Z. Kris wants to convince Beyoncé to bring Baby Blue on and make it her first-ever TV appearance! She thinks it would be cute to have a segment of Beyoncé and Kim talking about babies.”
