Royal Premier Forum at the Istana Negara, here, tonight.

The forum organised by Istana Negara and the Islamic Development Department

(Jakim) with the cooperation of Naza Corporation, was held for the first time at

the new palace in conjunction with His Majesty''s installation.

Also present were Minister in the Prime Minister''s Department Datuk Seri

Jamil Khir Baharom, as well as an audience of 600 people from the National

Defence University of Malaysia, Royal Malaysian Police, Malaysian Armed Forces

and Muslim Youth Movement of Malaysia.

The panellists for forum titled ''Marhaban Ya Ramadan'', broadcast live over

Radio Televisyen Malaysia''s (RTM) TV1, were Jakim Syariah Research Panel member

Dr Zulkifli Mohamad Al-Bakri, Badlishah Alaudin from the Pahang Islamic

Religious Department and Assoc Prof Dr Sharifah Haayati Syed Ismail from

Universiti Malaya''s Syariah Department.

The forum, among others, encouraged Muslims to be noble physically and

spiritually throughout Ramadan.
