Miroslav Klose claims Bayern Munich's players have what it takes to bounce back from their Champions League final defeat to Chelsea and boost Germany's chances of triumphing at Euro 2012.

Despite going into the match as favourites, the German giants lost out on penalties to the west Londoners, with die Mannschaft stars Bastian Schweinsteiger and Mario Gomez being heavily scrutinised for their performances in the contest.

Schweinsteiger missed a crucial spot kick during the shoot-out, while Gomez failed to take any of his chances in front of goal, leading to question marks over their ability to rise to an occasion. But Klose insists they do not have a mental block.

"I know all [the Bayern players] and I'm sure they do not have a mental problem," Klose told Bild.

"We all wished [Bayern] to have won the Champions League but unfortunately it turned out differently. Now we all hope that the guys are more ambitious than ever to win a European title with us."

Klose has been an integral part of the Germany set-up since 2001, scoring 63 goals in 117 appearances while representing the nation in six major tournaments, but the attacker now wants to buck the trend of being nearly-men and finally lift an international trophy.

"I'm [at a major tournament] for the sixth time and twice I finished second and third. I do not want a repeat," admitted Klose.

"I want to win a title with this team, and my feeling is that we can do that too."

Germany have been paired in Group B alongside Denmark, Netherlands and Portugal at Euro 2012, but face friendly opponents Switzerland on Friday.
