KUALA LUMPUR, 24 Julai (Bernama) -- The Ministry of Domestic Trade,
Cooperatives and Consumerism (KPDNKK) will organise a five-day low price
shopping for consumers in preparing for the coming Aidilfitri, called "Program
Jom Beli Barang@Putrajaya" (Let's buy Goods@Putrajaya), from July 25.
According to statement from the ministry, the programme would be officiated
by its minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob on July 26 and about 268 stalls
would be opened in various segments including beauty products, communication
gadgets, electrical appliances, food and drinks products.
"This year, the ministry aims its sales target at RM4 million and with
90,000 patrons," it said adding that the programme, that started since 2009,
would be held in every state including Sabah and Sarawak.
