6 Aug - Japanese multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Kuwata Keisuke has topped the Oricon Weekly charts for the second week in a row with his special best-of album, "I Love You -now & forever-".

According to Tokyo Hive, the 2-disc album sold 120,000 copies in the week of 6 August, which led it to reach the top of the weekly Oricon chart for the second time in a row with a total of 520,000 copies sold. The success of the album has also made him the first solo artist to pass the 500,000 mark for copies sold this year.

This is the second time that Kuwata has managed to stay at the top of the chart for two weeks in a row. He has repeated his previous achievement back in November 2002, when his previous best-of album, "TOP OF THE POPS", topped the charts for two weeks.

"I LOVE YOU -now & forever- " is a collection of 30 hit songs such as Kuwata's solo debut single "Kanashii Kimochi (JUST A MAN IN LOVE)", his bestselling single "Shiroi Koibito Tachi", and his Christmas song "Kissin' Christmas", featuring Matsutoya Yumi.
