Lady Gaga ‘works backstage for Iron Maiden’

Lady Gaga has been acting as a roadie for Iron Maiden.

The extravagant singer has made her name thanks to her edgy pop tunes, but is also a fan of heavy metal music. She star attended several shows the British rock band staged in Florida last week and was so enamoured by her idols she ended up helping out backstage.

Gaga was reportedly seen helping with ironing and organising refreshments, making sure all the band members and crew had drinks when needed.

“It’s a side to Gaga we’ve never seen,” a source told British newspaper The Daily Mirror.

“She is a massive Iron Maiden fan and was willing to be at their beck and call, just to hang out with her idols.

“She was humming along to their hit The Number of the Beast while carrying out her chores. And after all her hard work backstage she was rewarded with some drinking games.”

Iron Maiden comprises of Bruce Dickinson, Steve Harris, Dave Murray, Janick Gers, Adrian Smith and Nicko McBrain. Gaga has made sure her fans know about her passion for the band’s music, recently posting a picture of herself posing with drummer Nicko on her Twitter page.

Her love of the group is nothing new, she has previously admitted being a fan of their music. She has apparently been watching them carefully during their stage shows to pick up tips, and is keen to team up with them for a single.

“Gaga was watching how they interact with their audience. She cites them as a major inspiration and has been wearing similar leathers to theirs on her Monster Ball tour,” the source added.

“Gaga is always thinking of unique ways to take her sound to the next level, so a collaboration with Iron Maiden would be her dream. Just imagine the video.”
